College Counseling

The College Counseling Office at Josephinum Academy provides personalized college and career-planning guidance. Our college counselors assist students and their families with preparing college applications and forms and obtaining the financial aid and scholarships that make college affordable. We are committed partners in the planning process, helping each student to identify her gifts and her calling. The goal of the College Counseling Office at Josephinum is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to make informed choices and to pursue their dreams with confidence.

We maintain clear communication and a personal connection as we guide students and their families through each phase of the college application and acceptance process. Our comprehensive college and career-counseling program emphasizes individual meetings with students and their families.

Family Connection (Naviance), an internet-driven college counseling tool enables students to manage the college search process electronically. Students can track their test data, view grade point averages, research colleges, and examine their admissibility using Josephinum historical data (scattergrams).
