For your convenience, we accept credit card donations over the phone. You can contact Teresa Battaglia at (773) 292-3964 ext. 233 to process your gift.

Pledges

Pledges allow you to make a larger contribution with payments spread over a period of time. Reminders will be sent to you about your commitment on a schedule that is established by you if requested.

Gifts of Stock

Donating stock to Josephinum Academy is easy to do, and may result in tax savings for you. Gifts of appreciated securities held for over a year are generally deductible at market value and may be exempt from capital gains tax. If your securities are held in a brokerage account, your broker can electronically transfer the shares to Josephinum's account at Merrill Lynch. Contact Patricia Bresnahan (312-696-2131) or Linda Kohut (312-696-2132) to schedule a transfer.

So that we can properly credit your gift, please notify Morgan Henington at that you are making a stock gift. Tell her the name of the stock, the
number of shares and the transferring broker. Let her know if your gift is to be used for a particular area of interest, like scholarships or capital
improvements. You will receive a written gift receipt from Josephinum Academy. The gift date is the date that our account received the
transferred shares. The gift value is based on the average price of the stock on the gift date.

Memorial or Tribute Gifts

A thoughtful way of remembering someone special and creating a living legacy is by making a gift to Josephinum Academy in honor or in memory of an individual. If you wish to make a Memorial or Honor gift, please fill out this form and return to Josephinum Academy.

Matching Gifts

Alumnae and friends can double their gift to Josephinum Academy if their employer is a matching gifts company. To find out if your employer offers this valuable benefit, contact your human resources department.
