Josephinum Academy is committed to providing an engaging and relevant educational program that meets the needs of 21st-century learners by promoting and supporting the integration of technology across the curriculum. In our new Digital Learning environment, technology has quickly become a critical necessity of every day life. At the Jo, we not only foster in our students the core skills and competencies needed to successfully navigate the digital world, but to develop in them a moral compass that guides their ethical use of technology.
One-to-One Computing
As a one-to-one computing school, each student is required to have her own dedicated device (laptop, Chromebook or tablet with a keyboard). Students utilize electronic platforms like Schoology, Zoom and Google G-Suite to access assignments, complete classwork and interact with teachers and classmates remotely.
Computer Lab
While in the school building, students also have access to a state-of-the-art Mac computer lab with twenty-four desktops and two printers.
