How Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Strengthen Our Community:
• Strengthen and unify the culture by promoting connections, collaboration and inclusive behaviors
• Foster contributions from everyone through consistent display of respect and valuing differences within the Josephinum community
• Improve the attraction and retention of staff and students of diverse backgrounds
• Promote fulfillment the Five Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education.
We see their relevance especially in today’s time, and how important they are, not only to education, but to build a better world. In the tradition of our Sacred Heart Goals, three and four - a social awareness which impels to action and the building of community as a Christian value - we want to provide the opportunity to create a cohesive voice to campaign for justice.
