Welcome to Cougar Athletics!
Athletics teach values such as discipline, dedication, and leadership. These lessons contribute to life-long learning and personal growth. Participation in Josephinum athletics is a privilege and integral to the education process.
Our mission is to develop the character of our student-athletes while teaching the discipline of excellence. Through sports, students will cultivate strong character, leadership skills, and a work ethic. Athletes find inspiration from our dedicated coaches and further the sisterhood through lasting friendships.
Josephinum Academy is a member of the Chicago Prep Conference and Illinois High School Association (IHSA). We compete against both conference and non-conference teams. Come and be a Josephinum Cougar!
Athletes are required, per IHSA, to complete a physical prior to participating in team tryouts.
(Note: Freshmen physicians count as the sports physical.)
Take the form below to any registered doctor to conduct the physical examination, complete the form, and bring it to your tryout session or the Athletic Director.
