Beyond the Classroom

A typical day at Josephinum is anything but typical!  There are so many special touches - big and small - that make the Jo experience so much more than a top notch education, but a true home away from home. Our creative staff and faculty are always looking for ways to insert a little bit of fun and spirit into the day!  And always looking to the future, Jo girls can expect activities focused on personal development and preparation for life beyond the Jo.

Josephinum’s calendar has always been packed with fun activities that take place during and after school. Students have the opportunity to bond with classmates on retreats, perform a song in the talent show, and dance with friends at Homecoming and Prom. Connect with a mentor, learn from professionals from across Chicago, or lead an all-school assembly.
