Spring Luncheon Re-Envisioned as Josephinum Spring Storybook Virtual Event

All friends of the Jo - please read this special announcement about our upcoming annual Spring Luncheon originally scheduled for April 21.

As we face these uncertain times together, we want you and all our Jo family to be safe and healthy. For the past 14 Annual Spring Luncheons, we've come together as friends and family to not only empower Chicago's young women but to strengthen our bonds as a community. The funds we raise through the Spring Luncheon are critical to keeping our school open and innovating to meet the digital learning needs and support of our students. In this spirit of innovation we've taken a page out of our own book and worked with our event committee to quickly but thoughtfully re-envision this year's Spring Luncheon as the Josephinum Spring Storybook virtual event.

Although we will not gather in-person, we will continue to raise 100% tax deductible donations for sponsorships, "tables," and individual tickets. All "guests" will receive a special printed Jo Spring Luncheon Storybook, plus a Guest Package from us and access to video clips from this year's speakers, including a special address from our keynote speaker - Mary Ann Ahern, NBC 5 Chicago Political Reporter. As always, a fabulous selection of raffle prizes are part of this event. Raffle tickets may be purchased online and winners will be drawn on the original Spring Luncheon date of April 21.

Please know that our students and their families have been hit hard the past few weeks. Many parents are on the front lines serving as first-responders in our national crisis; healthcare workers, grocery store managers, and public servants. We need your immediate help to cover our students' next few months of tuition, cover health and wellness support, and ensure as many as possible they have access to internet for their virtual education.

Visit the Josephinum Spring Storybook website (www.jospringstorybook.com) for more details or to purchase a sponsorship, table, guest tickets or raffle tickets. Donations of every size make a huge impact as we work together to raise a minimum of $150,000 before April 30 to not only ensure the vibrant and innovative future of the Jo but immediately support our "Girls Without Limits". As we are no longer limited by space or distance, we have a unique opportunity to extend our reach even to those outside the Chicagoland area! Please help us spread the word and join us for this unique and critically important virtual event.
