More than 200 friends and supporters of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart attended the school's Spring Luncheon on April 30 at Michigan Shores in Wilmette.
Josephinum's Chief Development Officer, Amanda Miller, was recently interviewed on Chicago radio station, B96, as part of their "Chicago Connection" segment.
Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart will hold its Annual Spring Luncheon on Tuesday, April 30, from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Michigan Shores, 911 Michigan Ave. in Wilmette. Proceeds from the Spring Luncheon will contribute to the more than $1 million in scholarships and financial aid awarded annually to students.
Josephinum Academy has appointed Colleen Schrantz to the position of principal for the 2019/2020 school year. Schrantz joined Josephinum as assistant principal last year. She will replace Mary Rose Guerin who has accepted the position of Head of School at Forest Ridge Academy of the Sacred Heart in Seattle, Washington.
Desirée Pepper-Venzant, Executive Director of HFS (Holy Family Schools) Scholars, will be the featured Winter Reception speaker of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart on Thursday, Feb. 28. The annual event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at MATTER in the Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Plaza, #1230.
Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart will showcase work by student actors and artists in the high school's adaptation of Alfred Jarry's, Ubu Roi. The event will take place in the school's Black Box Theater, located at 1501 N. Oakley Blvd. Shows are set for 7 p.m. on Jan. 24-26 and Feb. 1-2.

Josephinum Academy is thrilled to open its doors to visitors on Oct. 13-14 during the Chicago Architecture Center's Open House Chicago (OHC) celebration. The school's Modernist structure at 1501 N. Oakley Blvd. in Wicker Park, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 13-14. The event marks Josephinum's first participation in the architecture festival.
On Saturday, September 15th, the Josephinum community was honored to join our friends at Woodlands Academy and Sacred Heart Schools Chicago, for a Global Day of Service.
Josephinum Academy's Jo Jamboree 2018! health and wellness festival attracted more than 200 people to participate in the school's first celebration of its kind featuring free youth sports clinics, nutrition workshops, games, health and wellness screenings and more. The event at the "Jo," Chicago's longest standing all girls Catholic high school, showcased the school's newly renovated softball field, funded largely by a Diamond Project grant from Chicago Cubs Charities.
